Hazard, KY 1-11-23
The 14th Region All “A” Boys Basketball Tournament kicked off at the Hazard Memorial Gym with Breathitt County taking on the Hazard Bulldogs. The Bobcats hoped to repeat last years All “A” run. Unfortunately for the Bobcats, the Hazard Bulldogs had other plans.
Hazard would jump out to a 21-7 first quarter lead behind balance scoring from all 5 starters. Breathitt kept the game within striking distance going in to the half trailing 32-16.

The third quarter gave Bobcat fans some hope as they out scored Hazard 17-13 to end the quarter trailing 45-33. Hazard would not be denied as they put the Bobcats away with an 18-14 forth quarter for a final score of 63-47. 

Breathitt dropped to a disappointing 8-7 while Hazard improved to 13-2.
