Breathitt County Lady Bobcats traveled to Dilce Combs, Whitaker Athletic Complex to take on the Lady Wildcats of Buckhorn. Buckhorn is being forced to play at Dilce Combs due to the July Flooding that ravished their school.

Buckhorn jumped out to an 18-8 halftime lead due in part to holding the Lady Bobcats Emily Neace scoreless in the first half. Buckhorn held on in the second half after the Lady Bobcats Emily Neace caught fire and scored 17 2nd half points while Breathitt scrapped to close with in 4 points but just couldn’t get over the hump. 

Buckhorn was led in scoring by Cassidy Adams with 14 points. Mackenzie Neace chipped in 13 points while Sheridan Combs finished with 9 points. Bailee Stidham rounded out the Lady Widcats scoring with 6 points.

Breathitt was led in scoring by Emily Neace with a game high 17 points. Maddie Haddix, Brenley Gross & Jerrica Neace all scored 5 points each while Riley Bush rounded out the scoring with 4 points.
