Perry County Central vs. George Rogers Clark 3.16.22
We enter the 3rd game of the game today between Perry County Central & GRC. After almost two quarter of play GRC is up by 14 points and 
only 3:46 left to play before going into halftime. After 16 minutes of play George Rogers Clark has taken this game and ran off with 17 points lead as both teams go into the locker rooms for halftime. Perry County will be looking to make some major adjustments coming out for this last half of basketball if they are wanting to cut into GRC’s lead and get back in this game. Coming out of the locker rooms for this 2nd half of play GRC is looking to keep expanding on that lead that they already have from the 1st half while Perry County is looking to dig into and get back into this game. Little over halfway through the 3rd quarter and GRC’s lead has grew to a 23-point spread against Perry County. As the last 8 minutes of play start here in game 3 of the opening session for the UK Healthcare Boys’ Sweet 16 and GRC has yet again been able to expand their lead now to 37 with 4:20 left to play, KSHAA has announced that we will now have a running clock the rest of this game due to “mercy rule”. George Rogers Clark will advance to the Elite 8 and play the winner of North Laurel & Pikeville that game is set to play tonight at 8:30 PM in Rupp Arena.
