Former PGA TOUR Barbasol Championship Volunteer Committee Chair David Williams passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the age of 76. Barbasol volunteers, players, and organizers mourn the passing of this exceptional individual.   

Dave’s faith, love of family, positive attitude, sportsmanship, and unparalleled selflessness was a shining example to us all. A lifetime Rotarian, Dave was committed to a life of “Service Above Self,” and quite simply made the world a better place because he was in it.

Dave leaves an indelible mark on the lives of those he met and an enduring legacy of generosity and to making our community a better place for all. We are richer for the experience of having known him and his light will shine on in our memories and the acts of kindness by those whom he inspired.

Our thoughts and prayers are with David’s wife of 55 years, Janie, his family, and friends. He will be missed and lovingly remembered by us all.

Well done, good and faithful servant.
